This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to every prompt, upload, and output on shedance.ai, including text-to-video, image-to-video, AI image generation, templates, and anything shared to the community gallery. It forms part of our Terms and Conditions. If you break this AUP, we may block the request, remove the content, and suspend or terminate your account.
Prohibited content
You must not use Shedance AI to create, upload, request, or share any of the following. Each category applies in every context, whether or not a real person is depicted.
1. Sexual and NSFW content
- Pornography, sexually explicit or sexually suggestive content, including nudity, sexual acts, fetish content, and "undressing" or "nudify" edits of any image.
- Any sexual or sexualized content involving minors, or anyone who appears to be a minor. We report child sexual abuse material to the appropriate authorities.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery of any person.
2. Violence and gore
- Graphic violence, gore, mutilation, torture, or realistic depictions of serious injury or death.
- Content that promotes, glorifies, or threatens violence, terrorism, or violent extremism, or that depicts self-harm or suicide in a way that encourages it.
- Instructions for making weapons or carrying out violent acts.
3. Hate speech and harassment
- Content that attacks, demeans, or dehumanizes people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or serious illness.
- Hateful symbols, slurs, or propaganda of hate groups.
- Bullying, harassment, intimidation, or content targeting a private individual.
4. Copyright and trademark infringement
- Content that copies or reproduces copyrighted works (films, shows, music, artwork, characters, photographs) without the rights holder's permission.
- Unauthorized use of trademarks, logos, or brand identities, including content that suggests false endorsement or affiliation.
- Uploading images, video, or audio that you do not own or do not have permission to use.
5. Deepfakes, impersonation, and deception
- Realistic content that depicts a real, identifiable person — including celebrities, public figures, and private individuals — saying or doing something they did not say or do, or placing them in a fabricated scene, without their documented consent.
- Face-swapping, voice or lip-sync cloning of another person, or any content presented as genuine footage of a real event that did not happen.
- Fraud, scams, fake documents, fake identification, political disinformation, or election manipulation.
6. Other illegal or harmful content
- Content that violates any applicable law or the rights of others, including privacy and publicity rights.
- Content that promotes illegal drugs, the sale of regulated goods, or other illegal activity.
- Malware, spam, or attempts to bypass our safety systems, for example by disguising prohibited requests.
Your responsibilities
- Only upload images, video, and audio that you own or are authorized to use, and only depict real people with their consent.
- Clearly label AI-generated media when viewers could otherwise be misled.
- You are responsible for your prompts, uploads, and how you use and share outputs.
How we moderate content
- Prompt screening before generation. Text prompts are automatically screened for unsafe content before generation starts. A prompt that is flagged is refused, and no credits are charged for it.
- Output screening before delivery. Generated images and videos are checked before download links or private gallery results are released. Content that fails review, or cannot be reviewed, is withheld and the task fails. Failed tasks do not consume user credits. Video screening uses sampled frames and does not guarantee detection of every violation.
- Model-level safety filters. The AI models we use apply their own safety filters and may refuse or stop a request.
- Restricted features. We do not offer celebrity, face-swap, or talking-head lip-sync templates that are designed to impersonate real people.
- Community gallery review. Content does not appear in the public community gallery until our team has reviewed and approved it.
- Enforcement. When we find or receive a report of a violation, we may remove the content, block further requests, and warn, suspend, or permanently terminate the account. We may keep records and cooperate with law enforcement where the law requires it.
Reporting violations
If you see content on Shedance AI that breaks this AUP, or content that uses your likeness or intellectual property without permission, please report it:
- Email: send the page link or job ID and a short description to support@shedance.ai with the subject line "Content Report".
- Support: submit a request through our Support page.
We review content reports and may request additional information. For copyright complaints, include the work you own, where the infringing content appears, and your contact details. Reports made in good faith will not be disclosed to the reported user.
Changes to this policy
We may update this AUP as laws, payment network rules, and our safety systems change. The "Last updated" date above shows when it last changed. Continued use of Shedance AI after an update means you accept the updated AUP.
